On November 12, 2014, Parallel Technologies organized a fast and furious client event sponsored by Arrow and HP. ProKart in Burnsville welcomed attendees at noon where a taco bar lunch was served during the event’s registration. Parallel’s Aaron Brendel gave an informative presentation on cloud storage following the meal, which was very well received.
Next it was on to racing! Drivers participated in a brief lesson on driving the cars safely and how to follow the flags on the race track. Two teams were formed for three practice runs before the actual competitive races began.
Once everyone was comfortable driving the cars, each was paired with a partner to compete in a “team race”. They had 30 minutes on the track with each driver alternating time behind the wheel with their partner.

During wait times, racers “shifted gears” and drove remote control cars on a miniature race track.

At the end of the day, a grand prize of an AR Drone Parrot 2.0 was won by Bob Bruckner–Congratulations Bob!
