What types of security upgrades are eligible?

The grant can be used to fund video surveillance, access control, emergency alert stations, intrusion detection, lighting improvements, and other physical security technologies that support campus safety.

Who is eligible to apply?

Any U.S. college or university that has not received a Campus OVW Grant in the past two years may apply. Public, private, and tribal institutions are all eligible.

When is the application due?

  • July 8, 2025: SF-424 and SF-LLL due via Grants.gov

  • July 10, 2025: Complete application due in JustGrants

Both deadlines must be met for your application to be considered.
