MINNEAPOLIS – August 9, 2018 – Parallel Technologies, an industry-leading reliable data center and intelligent building solutions company, has named Amy Anderson to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A significant expansion of her previous role as Financial Controller, Anderson now oversees the company’s accounting, internal audit compliance, human resources & recruiting, IT systems, marketing communications and purchasing functions.

“As our Controller, Amy refined Parallel Technologies’ financial processes and brought us to a new level of efficiency in our accounting practices,” said Parallel Technologies CEO and President, Dale Klein. “Her impact on the company helped us deliver our services more efficiently leading to higher profitability. As CFO, she will continue to take our company to new levels in the months and years ahead.”

Anderson joined Parallel Technologies in 2016 as Financial Controller. Over the past two years, she directed the company’s accounting and human resource functions and implemented processes that dramatically improved operational efficiency and reduced costs. A key part of Parallel Technologies’ leadership team, Anderson will work closely with CEO Dale Klein and business unit executives to lead the company to continued growth. She was instrumental in the June 2017 acquisition and integration of Omaha-based Building System Solutions.

“Amy joined our organization at a time when we were preparing for our next significant period of growth,” said Klein. “Under her direction, we put in place more robust systems, processes and controls to successfully expand our geographic and services footprint.”

Prior to Parallel Technologies, Anderson was Financial Controller at TripleTree, an independent merchant bank focused on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring and principal investing services. While there, oversaw all aspects of the company’s financial reporting, financial analysis and tax compliance. She was also instrumental in implementing accounting best practices and developing comprehensive employee compensation programs.

Following graduation from the University of Iowa with an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Anderson began her career with Pricewaterhousecoopers. During her decade at the firm’s Minneapolis office, including two years spent in the New York City office, she specialized in hedge funds and private equity tax compliance and Private Client Services.

Anderson is a resident of Bloomington, Minn. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has earned Series 28 (FINRA) certification. She is also a member of the Minnesota Society of Public Accountants and AICPA.
