September 8, 2026 – Eden Prairie, MN – Parallel Technologies today announced the acquisition of American Datapath, a Denver-based structured cabling and low-voltage integration provider. The acquisition gives Parallel Technologies its first direct presence in the Denver market and will extend American Datapath capabilities with further investment and broader service expertise from Parallel. American Datapath will transition to operating under the Parallel Technologies name and brand in the weeks ahead.

Founded in 1980, American Datapath has built a strong reputation for structured cabling and network installation work throughout Colorado, and has served as a trusted subcontractor to Parallel Technologies for almost two decades on some of Parallel's largest enterprise accounts. American Datapath's team will stay in place, continuing to serve customers out of its Englewood office as part of Parallel Technologies.

“Parallel isn’t a new partner to us. We’ve worked together for years, and we’re excited about what this partnership makes possible,” said Kristin Newman, President of American Datapath. “Joining Parallel means our customers get access to capabilities we haven’t been able to offer on our own.”

“We built this company on doing good work and keeping our word to our customers,” said Ron Griffith, co-founder of American Datapath. “Joining Parallel lets us keep that promise and do even more for the people who’ve trusted us for over 40 years.”

Parallel Technologies emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition, noting American Datapath's strong reputation and deep customer relationships in the Denver market. By bringing the two companies together, Parallel is backing American Datapath's growth of existing business with plans to invest in additional services, including physical security, so customers can get more from the team they already know.

“Our team has worked with the American Datapath team for years and has always respected how they operate,” said Jon Marks, CEO of Parallel Technologies. “This acquisition gives us a real presence in Denver and the opportunity, over time, to expand on existing capabilities and bring additional services to American Datapath’s customers.”

Luke Musech, Chairman of Parallel Technologies, highlighted the company’s continued growth strategy: “This acquisition reflects our commitment to growth through partnering with exceptional teams. It’s how we build lasting value for the customers and communities we serve. We’re excited about the future with the American Datapath team.”

This acquisition represents a significant step in Parallel Technologies’ long-term growth strategy, expanding its presence into Denver and giving American Datapath’s customers access to a broader range of services from the people who already know their business best.
