Parallel Technologies, an industry-leading reliable data center and intelligent building solutions company, has hired Amy Anderson as Controller. In this new position, Anderson will lead the company’s financial and human resources function.

A key part of Parallel Technologies’ leadership team, Anderson will work closely with CEO Dale Klein and COO Chris McPartland to lead the company in sustained growth. In 2015, 2013 and 2007, Parallel Technologies was named to Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s Fast 50 Growing Private Companies.

An experienced financial leader, Anderson brings to Parallel Technologies 15 years of professional accounting and tax experience. As Controller she will direct the company’s finance, accounting and human resource functions. Specifically she will implement processes to improve operational efficiency and identify opportunities for cost reductions as well as work with staff across the organization to understand and improve margins.

Anderson joins Parallel Technologies from TripleTree, an independent merchant bank focused on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring and principal investing services. In her role as Controller at the financial institution, she was an integral part of the management team and oversaw all aspects of the company’s financial reporting, financial analysis, and tax compliance. During her tenure at TripleTree, she was instrumental in implementing accounting best practices and developing comprehensive employee compensation programs.

Following graduation from the University of Iowa with an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Anderson began her career with Pricewaterhousecoopers. During her decade in Financial Services at the firm’s Minneapolis office, including two years spent in the New York City office, she specialized in hedge funds and private equity tax compliance.

Anderson is a resident of Bloomington, Minn. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has earned Series 28 (FINRA) certification. In addition to her active involvement in the Minnesota Society of Public Accountants, AICPA and Hedge Funds Care professional associations, she volunteers her time as a committee member for the annual Basilica Block Party.
